As a manufacturing engineer and product manager, my ability to effectively articulate and manage product specifications, design criteria, project planning, and distribution of products and services were recognized assets by Qualcomm, Inc in satellite communications systems for commercial transportation and military applications as well as CDMA cellular technology.

As a result of implementing a successful global marketing strategy for Ziatech’s  new industry specification CompactPCI, my region grew by 300% and met or exceeded quarterly goals for three consecutive years. I participated in a business development team that produced top tier clients such as Nortel, Ericsson, Lucent, and Motorola, producing over $2 million each in revenue per year for Ziatech. Overseeing the specification, design and delivery for custom products to Lucent, Nortel and the Department of Defense in addition to 50 other clients,  I learned the guidelines of ISO 9001, including required documentation.

Having founded or been part of the start-up team for several companies, I led the strategic planning process and specialized in creating start-up business plans.  One start-up was successfully functioning in the first year of operation with ten employees and over $250,000 in revenue.

In 1999, I founded BizWatt, an ASP modeled ERP package targeted towards the SMB market. My knowledge from Ziatech helped to identify an opportunity to develop and implement ERP modules for effectively.. Coupled with the convergence of Internet broadband and Web based applications, I coordinated a development team, successfully raised mezzanine funding and created a proof of this concept.

Other start-up ventures included Aspect Media Factory - a video, film, and commercial production company - and CIC Wireless, a wireless Internet Service Provider.
